More Song 06/02/2025

More Song will be back from our winter break on February 2nd, with another exciting line-up of poets featuring Rowan Evans, Sean Roy Parker, and Rebecca Lockwood.

We’ll be celebrating Sean’s new collection stewarding (Monitor Books, 2024), and Rebecca’s latest pamphlet Arms of Other Men (Fawn Press, 2024), and will also be looking forward to the chance of some new work from Bloomsbury’s Rowan Evans.

As always, we’ll have our trusty open mic section too - email Tom (tombranfoot@gmail.com) with a sample of your work for a slot. This tends to fill up quickly, so if you’ve got work to share don’t hesitate.

Tom’s been busy over the festive break working with friend of More Song David Mullin to put together pamphlets featuring poets who have read at our events throughout 2023-24, and these will be available on the website from January 20th. Hand-bound and letterpress printed by David Mullin, the pamphlets are a beautiful piece of work, featuring new poetry from J.R. Carpenter, Fran Lock, Joseph Minden and many more, and funds raised from the sale of these will help to ensure we can continue paying our readers and bringing events like this to Bradford.
